TENNIS PLAYERS
Tennis players who are older than 18 years of age are eligible to join the TWT circuit.
TWT is a free social network with extra cost services.
Free services include the ability to engage in challenges with other players and join tournaments hosted by other players/organizers. A free profile is limited in certain areas, but the player will still be ranked in the Challenge Rankings and Tournament Rankings.
Premium accounts allow the player access to all services, including the General Rankings, which count towards eligibility for the Masters tournament.

On the top right you will see an icon.
If you have an ongoing challenge, a notification will appear over this icon.
WHY AM I NOT CHALLENGEABLE?
This happens for several reasons:
- You can’t challenge yourself
- You received a red card because you behaved poorly
WHAT ARE HEAD-TO-HEAD STATISTICS?
When you play against another tennis player (in a challenge or tournament) you can win or lose. This chart tells you how you are doing against the opponents you have met or challenged.
You can see this on your user profile
Furthermore, you can see also how other users are doing by viewing their profile.
WHAT IS POWER ABILITY?
When you enroll in TWT, you give a grade to each of your shots, and in doing so give yourself a score. However, this is not a very objective value.
When you play against another tennis player (challenge or tournaments), once the match is over, they also give scores to your abilities.
This is “power ability”
The score keeps changing the more you play against others. It will then become more and more accurate as you progress.
You can see how accurate the score is by looking at your power ability graphic. It can reach a maximum of 100% accuracy.
CHALLENGES
All registered players can send and receive challenges. To issue a challenge, you just need to select the player’s profile and click on the button to issue a challenge.
CHALLENGE PROCEDURE
- Player A challenges player B using the abovementioned procedure.
- If the player accepts the challenge, the match will appear in MY CHALLENGES.
- After the match, one player will enter the result of the match in the open challenges screen.
- The other player will then click on CONFIRM RESULT in the open challenges screen.
- Each player will complete the challenge by providing feedback on the other person’s game.
- After the double confirmation has been completed, ranking points will be distributed on the following Sunday after midnight. So it is important that challenges are confirmed by the Sunday of the week in which they were played.
IMPORTANT TIP
Open challenges have to be closed and confirmed by the Sunday of the week in which they were played.
WHY CAN´T I CHALLENGE?
You can’t challenge yourself, or you could be blocked from challenged because of a red flag. You receive red flags for poor behavior.
HOW DO I DECLINE A CHALLENGE?
Simply click on “challenge not accepted” when you are issued with a challenge.
Your opponent will receive a mail informing them that you have declined their challenge.
THE CHALLENGE ENDED IN A TIE, WHAT CAN I DO?
The challenge in this case didn’t lead to a result.
However, bear in mind that challenges are not ties if there is a difference of one game.
For example, players A and B split two sets 6-7, 6-4. Since player A won more games than player B, and lost fewer, he wins the challenge.
HOW MANY POINTS DO I GET IF I WIN? AND HOW MANY IF I LOSE?
If you win you get 20 points.
If you lose you get 5 points.
HOW DO I INSERT A CHALLENGE RESULT?
You can enter the results of a challenge by clicking on the name of the player who won. That name will turn light blue.
At that point, you just enter the score. For example, player A beat player B. The score was 6-4, 6-4.
Remember to put the score the right way round. The player who won must have the highest number of games assigned to their name, so it must be 6-4, 6-4 and not 4-6, 4-6.
WHY DO I NOT SEE MY POINTS?
The points will be added after the following Sunday.
THE CHALLENGE DISAPPEARED!
Perhaps because the opponent contest the result
WHY DO I HAVE TO RATE THE SKILLS OF THE PERSON I CHALLENGED?
Because it is important for the community that we know each other’s skills and personality as players. This helps with matchmaking.

- To pay the enrollment fee you must have enough credits in your account!
WHY CAN´T I PLAY TOURNAMENTS?
Because you receive a RED FLAG for bad attitude
WHY WAS I EXCLUDED AFTER ENROLLING?
Because the organizer establishes how many tennis players can participate in the tournament.

If you are excluded by a tournament, your fee will be reimbursed.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE MASTER RANKING
We send the updated ranking for master by email and you can see it on the facebook page too
WHAT IS TWT RANK?
METHOD FOR COMPILING TWT RANK
TIME PERIOD CONSIDERED
All competitive activities carried out from 1st January 2021 to 31st December 2022 are considered.
Matches played during official TWT events are also counted.
For the purposes of the rankings, both the victories and the defeats obtained within the individual and team activities must be considered, with the time limits indicated above.
As regards the activity of 2022, reference will be made to the 2022 rankings. And so on and so forth, in the following years.
ACTIVITY CONSIDERED
All Championships and tournaments, individual and team, announced or approved by TWT are considered.
CALCULATION OF THE RANKING
The ranking is defined by the coefficient of performance and by the promotion and relegation mechanisms reported below.
THE COEFFICIENT OF PERFORMANCE
The coefficient of performance is obtained by adding the score for the best wins in the number indicated below, and the expected bonuses. This coefficient does not in any way constitute a capital that can be used for the following year.
Points are earned by defeating opposing players rated based on their rankings, as described below. Victories in case of walkovers do not give a score, while those, in case of opponent’s withdrawal are valid for the attribution of points if the match has actually started.
Victory on top ranked player of two groups or more: +120 points
Victory over the best ranked player in a group: +90 points
Victory on a player of equal ranking: + 60 points
Victory on a player from a lower group: +30 points
Victory on player of two lower groups: + 20 points
Victory on player of lower three groups: + 15 points
Victory on player of four or more lower groups: 0 points
ATTENTION:
If during the time period considered for the purposes of the rankings (previously described) you meet players who’ve had their rankings updated following the publication of the rankings valid for 2021 (including mid-year changes and official changes during the year), this last ranking will be taken into consideration for the purposes of all subsequent calculations.
TOURNAMENT WINNERS
The winner of a tournament with at least 6 actual participants in the men's competitions and eight actual players in the women's competitions.
The promotion takes place step by step, as follows: the player who has a score for promotion to the next section is provisionally placed in this bracket; then his coefficient is recalculated on the basis of the new ranking: if the new score is sufficient for another promotion, the player is placed in the upper section and the described mechanism is repeated, otherwise he remains in that section and his coefficient of performance will be the last calculated.
You can only demote one group each year.
PROMOTIONS DURING THE YEAR
We’ll have four promotions during the year:
- At the end of March
- At the end of June
- At the end of September
- At the end of December
Here the points can determinate the promotions or not.
